Volunteer Activities

As a volunteer with HFNLA, you can engage in a variety of activities:

  • Settlement Support

    Assist refugees with housing, school registrations, and navigating local services.

    Help newcomers improve their English or French language skills, or help with translation.

  • Employment Assistance

    Provide guidance on job searches and understanding Canadian workplace culture.

  • Transportation

    Aid with transportation to essential appointments and locations.

    Help refugees understand and adapt to Canadian cultural norms and practices.

  • Administrative Support

    Assist with applications, obtaining IDs, and with organizational tasks.
